Welcome to my blog! What a cool way to show off some of my recent work, tell you a little more about my business, give you a better idea of why I love what I do. Here are some of the words I hope will come to mind when you see a Dana Romano image—spontaneous, natural, un-posed, and fun.

Whether you're looking for portraits of your family, senior portraits, or images of your wedding, I hope you'll find my work inspiring. I want you to enjoy being photographed – to actually have fun! I feel truly blessed to be able to document the people that are so close to you.

A GREAT Mother and Daughter session

Recently a lovely mom came to me and said she was looking to do a portrait session that captured the special relationship between her two daughters. Okay, I'm there!
Mary Lou asked if I could squeeze her in right away - her two daughters were about to head out of town. 20-year-old Emma was going back to college, and 26- year- old Johanna was going back to her home in Colorado. We quickly set a date, met at nearby park on a mercifully warm late November day, and captured some wonderful images. It was clear to me right away that the relationship between these sisters was indeed special, and I can see why Mary Lou wanted to document it. But what I also saw was the incredible bond they have with their mom. They were all so comfortable together, and so loving, and it was just more proof (and as a mom myself I think I already knew this) that a mother's bond with her children continues until…well, forever.
